Introduction I have been a full-time resident of CV (Saddle Creek) for sixteen years. My wife, Susie, and I planned and built our retirement home in the Knolls with the expectation of enjoying our senior years here. Previously, we resided in the 650 home community of Turtle Creek in Concord which was governed By CC&Rs and managed by Master and Sub Homeowner Associations. I served as a Director of the Master HOA for six years, two as President. Some HOA Related Accomplishments Restated and updated the CC&Rs and all governing documents. Replaced an ineffective management company. Went door to door to gather enough votes to cap the number of rentals permitted. Worked with the city of Concord to create the Paw Patch Dog Park, the first dog park in concord, located in Newhall Park. CVCSD Experience and Accomplishments Served on the CVCSD for eight years, 2014 to present, two years as President Initiated survey of road conditions and other infrastructure and secured funding for repairs and resurfacing completed 2021. Got reserve studies completed and reserves established. Goals As your HOA Board Director, I will work tirelessly to promote the best interests of our community as a whole I promise you that, on my watch, Copper Valley will not backslide, not a penny of homeowner dues will be spent foolishly, and no homeowner’s legitimate concerns will be ignored. I offer a proven common-sense approach to problem solving and the leadership skills needed to achieve these goals. Action Needed Please elect Beryl Simkins and Larry Hoffman to serve you!
